Kamakura opened in 1997 to coincide with the Ryder Cup held in neighbouring Valderrama golf club. The San Roque Club Golf & Country Club was the official resort venue for the European and American teams and their families as well as the European Tour staff and press. From this point on Kamakura became a by-name for quality and service. Due to popular demand, the restaurant was extended in May of 2002. The décor reflects the purity and quality of Japanese design and every effort is made for your dining experience to be as authentic as possible. The menu offered is traditional Japanese and all our chefs and servers have trained in Japan. Kamakura can be found at the back of the golf clubhouse by the fountain terrace. |
